It was a theater of drama yesterday Wednesday night, February 12, 2020 as Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello nominates self as member of State Independent Electoral Commission (SIEC).
Governor Yahaya Bello had through his Chief Press secretary on Wednesday sent eight names to the State House of Assembly for confirmation as members of SIEC.
The responsibility of the SIEC is to conduct state and local government elections.
Yahaya Bello who was sworn-in early this month alongside his Deputy, Edward Onoja for the second term which will run till 2024.
The governor stated in the letter conveyed to the assembly to screen and clear the nominees.
