Dear sirs,

Woe betides a nation where truth is forsaken and falsehoods is elevated to statecraft. Our dear town is on the brink of unimaginable catastrophe, except we act to stop the doom. Letters, statements, criticisms and concerns have been expressed by prominent Oyos and the common man, yet, all of this cannot fully illustrate the weight of the danger that is hovering over town.

Unfortunately, your e-dogs, poster boys have publicly narrowed down everything to politics and hatred for various offices and personalities. This is not wisdom. These challenges predate several years back when hoodlums stands were setting up, but they have been terribly aggravated and accentuated in an unprecedented manner. By your seeming aloofness and lack of capacity to tackle them.

But today, even the elected ones and appointed ones among you seemed to be happy over the development of the threats menace and robbery. In many parts of our town, robbers and thugs continue to unleash terror on our lands and make life unbearable for our people while you people are living conveniently in IBADAN and ABUJA.

Sirs, in your hands lie the opportunity to address this problem if you are ready to show leadership. We challenge you to demonstrate courage and call a spade a spade like other real community leaders. It is time to call security agencies to order. It is time to act over the thugs terrorising our lands. It is time to rule with justice and courage.

The students body will not relent in our efforts to challenge you people. Hence, failure to rise up to helps us to find lasting solutions to these problems may forced us to embark on the second option.

Thank you, Sirs.
