An Open Letter To Governor Seyi Makinde By Adeosun Adedolapo Ayobami

Your Excellency,

                       GSM: THE GREAT AND YOUNG AMBASSADOR OF THE PEOPLE OF OYO STATE.

With immense gratitude, let me use this medium to register my heart-felt and sincere appreciation. I am writting this letter to appreciate you and your team on the good work you have done and still doing in oyo state, you are such a role model.
You came out from a party, which people claimed to have achieved nothing in this country as a whole, but you made us understand that you are a man of vision and mission.

Your excellency sir, i am very much overwhelmed by your actions since you emerge as the governor of oyo state with all your actions and achievements. Sir,  i am eager to reiterate the good you have done in the life of the people of oyo state and i believe you are still going to do more.
First, you did well when you used your personal cars instead of using costly brand new sports vechicle and in Oct 2019, during the xenophobia attacks in South Africa, you disbursed ₦900,000 cash to no fewer than 30 indigenes of the state who returned from South Africa.
Sir, concerning  security, agriculture, health and education you have done wonderfully well. From the side of education, your achievement is second to none by providing a free education to all primary and secondary pupils and students respectively, also paying pensions to pensioners as and when due, which they are highly delighted with. The state now has the biggest education spending allocation of 22.4% 2020 budget .
On security, Engr. Seyi Makinde, you also launched 100 security patrol vehicles to enhance security operation in the state in 2019 and also signed Amotekun bill into law to provide adequate security.

On agriculture, you made the approval of ₦76billion loan from CBN(Central bank of Nigeria) for farmers in their  pursuit for agricultural sustainability and economic emancipation which has been in process under the immediate past administration.
Sir, you never despise infrastructure instead, you kicked start with a ₦9.9million Monica Ijaye - Iseyin road, also, Ogbomoso, Eruwa Saki, Ibadan, Oyo roads were listed in your just signed 2020 bill of ₦213 billion. Still on transportation, you said oyo will take full responsibility of Lagos -Ibadan rail projects what a fantastic motion.

Governor Seyi makinde you also approved ₦500million counterpart fund form the world bank to support Nigeria Erosion and watershed Management project (NEWMAP)  in the state. This project is to enhance the control and prevention of flood, erosion and natural disasters across the nooks and crannies of Oyo state.

On health, Oyo state government just earmarked on a  ₦1 billion project for the upgrading of the primary health care delivery across the state. On Monday march 16, 2020, you flagged off the statewide free health mission covering surgeries, tests and medications for virtually all diseases.

On a final note sir,  the people of Oyo state were very happy concerning the just signed and approved minimum wage for  workers. So, let the good work continue sir, and may the Almighty God be with you and your families, protect you from harm and enemies.
