As the pendulum swing, in within now and 2023 may seems to be long to ordinary citizens but to the Con political permutator's, it's as short as . While we tend to look in-depth on the zoning arrangement that may cause imbroglio towards the Presidency aspiration in 2023, as South western part of the country are optimistic of taking over the mantle of leadership from the Northern part of the country.

It's unarguably that, there are more than enough capable hands that can steer the affairs of the state from the western region irrespective of their Political Party Affiliation. With the least doubt - I want to believed that Southwest will fill in a credible and popular candidate, and not just a candidate with personal aggrandizement.

There are lots of salient issue that are needed to be addressed by Southwestern part of the country, if truely demanded the Presidency seat in 2023. I felt enthusiastic and satisfied, for being able to witness such a dynamism that surrounds the political atmosphere in the Country at the moment.

Recently, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (APC), Prof Yemi Osinbajo(APC), Omoyele Sowore(AAC), Pastor Tunde Bakare (Unknown), Akinwumi Adesina and others people of worthy personality has been tipped for the position of President. While it remains uncertain on whose the Cap fit- The drum of warning should be beat to the ear of Yoruba political bigwigs not to loose this opportunity, while fighting against eachother- Can this be avoided?
Some Days ago, Yoruba's felt elated and amazed as Governor of Kaduna State declared his support for the southwest region towards 2023 Presidency race. As sweet as the word of the short man with an honey on his lips could be, it look untruthful and political.

To this end, Southwest Political Juggernaut should be well prepared and think beyond political differences as what lies ahead come 2023 may not be the game as usual. Zero tolerance should be given to external forces to infiltrate into our midst.

It's apposite to state it categorically that while there is feasibility and good tendency of Yoruba's occupying be in charge of the country affairs come 2023, competence and excellence must be placed over mediocrity.
While going with Competence, Credibility, Party Structure, Resourcefulness and host of other- unarguably, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is presently leading the race.

From the archive: Obasanjo (Yoruba) 1999- 2007, Musa Yaradua (Hausa/Fulani) 2007-10, Jonathan (Middle belt) 2010-2015 and Muhammadu Buhari (Hausa/Fulani) 2015- till date.

Top Personality that maybe considered - what there profile says:

Bola Ahmed Tinubu: Alhaji Bola ruled Lagos within 1999-2007, and since then has become the King Maker in Choosing Lagos state leadership and many other state in southwest zone. He's significantly capable to champion the cause if chance is given. He is Man with Soldiers.

Babatunde Raji Fashola : Governor of Lagos State (2007-15), Minister of works, housing and power (2015-2019), Minister of Housing and works (2019- till date). His achievements both as a Governor and Minister are exceptional remarkable.

Senator Ibikunle Amosun: Senator (2003-2007), Ogun state Governor (2011-2019),  Senator (2019- till date). He has numbers of infrastructural development to his name as governor, his antecedent speak so high of him.

Omoyele Sowore : Sowore is a Former Student Union President of University of Lagos,A Staunch Supporter,Ally to the Late Chief Moshood Kashiamawo Abiola and the owner of the Popular Sahara Reporters. He contested for the post of the President under the platform of AAC in 2019 also the national chairman of the party. Omoyele sowore had the intention to lunch the Revolution protest and got arrested by the Federal government and later granted on bail.

Professor Yemi Osinbajo : Yemi Osinbajo is also a preferred candidate from the south west and a Christian. Professor Osinbajo was the Lagos State Attornet general and currently the vice president of Nigeria under the platform of APC.Professor Yemi Osinbajo is from Ogun state Ikenne to be precise.
However as good as all this Candidates are,it will be apposite to sound a Note of warning that Yoruba Leaders should embrace the Principle of Unity in diversity not in dichotomy- it's time to work hand-in-hand in projecting the interest of Yoruba, irrespective of religion lines and political differences. Lets Yoruba Rise and Shine!!!

Yoruba Time To Rise And Shine!!!

  1. Zoning presidency is no good for our beloved country, what we should preach more at this point in time is love, let see beyond rulling the state..all Nigerians deserves the seat provided the candidate is credible and deem fit for the post....Ola remember we're better as one Nigeria than to be separated by mere tribe. If it's an igbo man or Hausa we feels he's good to carry-on our country and move her to the next level why not give such person support and not feel entitled to presidency as a tribe. We have above 500 tribes in Nigeria so let preach love instead inorder not put other tribes down by zoning. Thanks .. you're the best Olalekan omoladipo A.k.A Machiavelli
